Cornwall, UK
Product Designer
Now in my final year at Plymouth University.
This space should contain my work...but I'm usually too busy doing it...
so for now mainly my photos, captured in my spare time, and anything I find interesting in the world of design and creativity.
When I've had enough of work, I usually escape to the beach for bodyboarding and floating around in the sea.
Ask Me Anything
I love Starck’s outlook on Design and Life…we are Super-monkeys.
Now you have a duty. Invent a new story. Invent a new poetry. The only rule is, we have not to have any idea about the next story. We give you white pages. Invent. We give you the best tools, the best tools, and now, do it. That’s why I continue to work, even if it’s for toilet brush.

Suna Broom by Joseph Guerra
Guerra linked the repetitive action of sweeping with the meditative process of raking sand in a Japanese Zen garden, hoping that his broom might allow for a similar moment of contemplation.
- Very similar to how I’m stringing my major project.
Love this outcome though.

‘disassembly’ by Canadian photographer todd mclellan is a series of images capturing old relics
of our past in its dismantled form. including items such as a typewriter, push lawn mower and
a rotary phone, the collection delineates the astounding intricacies and craft of these mechanical objects.
every piece and component are positioned in an almost obsessive-compulsive arrangement - by type,
size, function - resulting in a clear portrait of an era that we have seemingly left behind. - source: designboom
- Nice image, new idea now for my major project.
Watched a new favourite TV programme last night (not usually a big TV person but there are SO many good shows on at the minute)…. This one being George Clarke’s amazing spaces on Channel 4.
It features lots of micro-conversion projects which are incredible - almost makes me want to join my Dad and buy a caravan!!!
By far my favourite from last night was the project of Laura Jane Clark, who has transformed an old public toilets in Crystal Palace into an amazing one bedroom flat. Very inspiring!! See her blog here: http://crystalpalacetoilets.blogspot.co.uk/ and pictures above.
Cant wait until next Tuesday!!!
One of my favourite spaces on George Clarke’s amazing spaces on Channel 4. Living underneath the city…nice blog niceinsides.

“The newly proposed Ebacc qualification will exclude Design and the Arts from the nation’s educational agenda. Rather than risk losing generations of design industry professionals at a huge cost to the UK’s creative economy, we urge the government to reconsider their stance and add a sixth pillar of Creative subjects into the Ebacc.”
